Hi. My name is Greg, and I'm a geek. I live on the boundary between Chicago and corn country with the lovely Danielle and an insane half-beagle, half-piranha rescue dog.

In a previous life, I worked mainly with enterprise-y closed-source systems, doing DevOps consulting with small teams before we knew what to call it.

I completed the Mendicant Core Skills course in September 2011. Since then I've been ramping up my skills as an open-source contributor. Thus far I've worked mainly with Mendicant's own projects, though I've also edited a bit of Ruby's core documentation, and this is just the beginning.
